Who doesn’t want to use the easiest online database out there? Of course we all do. But it turns out that it’s not so simple to pick the easiest online database. The choice depends on what you intend to do and what is your technical background.

For example for a simple project DabbleDB may do the job, but it can quickly become a wrong choice for a more complex project.

In our reviews of online databases we have found that ExpressDB is the easiest product. Of course its functionality is also limited to supporting web forms.

For more mainstream projects, Caspio appears to provide the most features packed in a familiar user interface. Microsoft Access users and those familiar with Excel particularly appreciate Caspio’s interface.

Zoho Creator has a traditional clunky web interface, but if you don’t mind the interface, it may be the right product for you. Quickbase is not for the faint of heart.
